Hello..You Still There? Anyone? Yoohoo!

WARNING!!
This may be the longest post ever!
May cause boredom, yawning, and even make your forehead meet your keyboard.
If you're still reading this after reading the warning label, I warned ya!  Just sayin'

When I said I was going to be MIA for a few days, I was refering to the week prior to the babyshower, and it turns out that I'm busier this week than I was the week before. How is that even possible?!

Let's see a quick recap on last week.

Ummm the famous Donkey Show I won tickets for that I was afraid of going to, yea turned out exactly as I imagined. It was a Disco type, Studio 54 meets Shakespeare kinda party/show. Ever read or see the play MidSummer Night's Dream? Picture that Disco style. All I can say is that it was somewhat INTERESTING. But not the exciting and fun interesting, more like the scary and creepy kind of interesting. Well that was my opinion, the crowd, my hunny, and my friend and her fiance who I dragged along with us, thought it was a cool show. I guess, if you're into that kind of stuff.
Some of the crowd dressed up in 70's gear, I wish I would've known, I would've loved to have dressed up too, ok maybe not.

What's next? Oh yea, I don't know if I've ever mentioned in any of my previous posts, I don't recall how I came about it, but I've been to a few ok alot of movie pre-screenings since the beginning of the year. How it works? You get a pre-screening pass, you stand in line before the show as it's first come first serve basis, you get to watch an unreleased movie before everyone else, then you go tell your friends how awesome the movie was so they go watch it...the best part for YOU is that it's FREE!!! I'll tell you how to get those passes at the end of this paragraph.  Anywho, so Thursday night I went to watch "Total Recall" with my honey, sadly I never watched the first original version, but I must say this version ROCKED! I say you all save your pennies and go watch it!

To get free pre-screening passes, you can go to GofoboAdvanceScreenings , WildAboutMovies some of them on gofobo will require a rsvp code, your local newspapers, some radio stations, give out the rsvp codes and you can enter them there. Other movies may have open screenings and those are the ones you want. The ones you can print right away.  There you have it, a free date during the week compliments of me. :)

Then Friday, we went over my Besties to finalize all the shower favors and goodies. And then I decorated her belly with all the leftover stickers. Isn't her belly the cutest?!

Saturday, I spent the day with my honey, my nieces, and my Mom. We ran some errands, took the girls for pony rides, had lunch, grew some sponge animals, and even made some Art. (Stay tuned for the "ART" post.)

Sunday was the babyshower...Everything was so nicely set up and beautiful. Decor was beautiful, food was DELICIOUS, and Baby Ethan received everything and much more for his arrival. Now we're just counting down the days.  35 days to go! Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures since Auntie to Be, Amey and I were playing hostess. I only got this one picture.
I promise once the photographer sends us the photos to share them with you.

And that folks, was my weekend. Now as for this week. I spent Sunday-Tuesday house/doggysitting. Wednesday the huns cooked some yummy pasta and then we went and hungout at Bayside Marketplace, where I got this ring and the cutest new Mickey phone case.

Isn't Mickey the cutest?

Now I have 2!  :)

Lastnight, we went to see Ruby Sparks (another pre-screening)  This is the movie where the guy is a writer and the girl he writes about comes to life..The movie was really cute!

This weekend, I have a date with my overdue cluttered room, drawers, and closet. Bleh!
It's time for some spring/summer and soon to be fall cleaning. How exciting, right?!...
I just want to cry! But it's gotta be done.

There you have it folks, my weekend, week recap and this weekend recap.
Hope yours is full of sunshine, margaritas, and fun!!!

Weekend Recap

This past weekend, I had an amazing trip to Disney planned. I was super excited that I was packed, car had gotten it's oil change, tires checked, got my mani/pedi done, filled up my gas tank, all I needed was to get my hair done and go. Everything is right on track!
Thursday night, I go to get my hair done, hair is looking FABULOUS by the way, and when I leave the hairdresser's house, my didn't start. 8/ say what?!
So I open the hood and check to make sure the terminals are in and tight and try and crank and nothing. So now here I am, 5 miles from my home, 10pm at night, in the muggiest yuckiest humidity, hair no longer looking fabulous, but at this point who cares about the hair. Luckily my Mommy and the old neighbor across the street who asks me to marry him every chance he gets, came to the rescue.

So anywho, I wasn't going to let that ruin my trip; I'll deal with the car issues when I return.
So the trip continued as planned. Hooray!  I made it to resort early enough to have dinner and get a good night's rest.

Got up super early, cause I wanted to take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours, which I must've missed the fine print to where only disney resort guests are allowed to enjoy the extra magic hours.
Good thing I only had to wait out in the hot sun for 30 minutes.

I got to see Mickey!!!

Had some beer in the UK

Shaved ice with condensed milk in Japan

Finished my day in Mexico

And had 2 shots and a Margarita

Results: I had an amazing time, can't believe we completed the park in 8 hours only missing 3 rides due to long wait times. 75 minutes, are you serious!

& then I got sick and spent the rest of the weekend in bed.
& this has become my new bestfriend.
Atleast I got to enjoy one day and one park.
My bed is waiting anxiously waiting for me.

Memorial Weekend

First off, I hope you all had a nice Memorial weekend. I surely enjoyed mine...and We did end up at Magic Kingdom and see my boyfriend Mickey. I love Mickey, he's sooo cute!!! Oh And we did a little shopping too! There were some amazing sales this weekend! So sad I'm NOT rich!
I accomplished just about everything on my "I Will" from my previous post. let's go down the list. I'll type up a new post and pictures on our Disney trip later!

My "I Will' List

1- Sleep, Sleep, and more Sleep. I'd like to get atleast 8 hours of sleep.
* Nope didn't get any of this. My honey ended up coming along, so it was nice to spend "extra" time with him so we made sure to use up the whole 24 hours together each day.
2- Have breakfast with my Mom, Sister and my little princess daily.
* I did have breakfast with each of them everyday. :)

3- GET some SUN!!!! I've been told I'm waaaay past pale. (that's mean, right?)
* I didn't get as much as I would've liked, only hung out by the pool on Saturday, but did get a little tan. :)

4- Read! I've purchased about 10 books since the beginning of the year, I have yet to open one. So sad I know.
* Yes...I began reading Sophie Kinsella's "Shopaholic Ties the Knot" I love her series of books. I managed to read more than expected...of course now that I'm back to the regular schedule I've put it down. :(

5- Bake- I totally love that our Villa has a kitchen. My nieces love baking, so we will definately get some baking done! Mickey Cupcakes, anyone?!
* I Did bake cupcakes with my little princess Layla. Lydia was too busy infront of the tv. Kids and television. *SMH* but the cupcakes were DEEEELLLICCCIOUS!!!!!

6- Spa Night... I haven't given the girls a spa night in a while...so manis/pedis/facials/and non-alcoholic piña coladas while we watch The Little Mermaid. The girls will totally love this!
* I did give the girls mani and pedis! :) We didn't watch the Little Mermaid as they decided they wanted to watch 2 different movies. They didn't have piña coladas, but I did!!!! :)
7- Dress Up/Photo Shoot- Since Lydia will be graduating PreK in a few weeks, and I've promised her a graduation party, this will be the perfect time to dress her up and have a photo shoot to prep for her special night!
* Lydia loved taking pictures!!! I will upload her pictures later today. She loved being all sparkly and pink! This was a lot of fun!

8- Tango!- I know this weekend is strictly to catch up and spend time with my Mom, my Sister, and the Nieces...I'm sure they won't mind if I share a few minutes of their time so I can Tango with the Huns! Hmmm....maybe while they sleep. ;)
* Well since the honey came along, I didn't have to Tango!!!! It's sooo much better to talk to him in person than over tango.

9- Have some ME time...As much as I love hanging out with the family, I can really use a little ME time, even if it's just a few minutes away!
* I didn't really get any ME time, other than while I read my book and when I showered, or power napped...but that doesn't really count. :/
10- Enjoy my Mom, my Sister, and my Nieces...god knows we need each other right now and can definately use this mini getaway.
* and YES! I definately enjoyed hanging out with everyone...so sad the weekend flew by so quickly...but hey now we have Labor Day Weekend to look forward to. :)

I "WILL"...

As some of you may know, Mickey Mouse, is the 2nd love of my life, and Disney World is my Happy place.

I take a few mini trips to Orlando throughout the year, and the next one I have planned is for this upcoming weekend. Unfortunately, things didn't work out as planned, so I will miss visiting Mickey, but since the Resort has been pre-paid for, I will definately take advantage and get some R&R.

Lately, I've been a little busy with work, school, and a few new changes in my life, that I haven't really had time to hangout with some of my favorite people. So this weekend it will be ALL about THEM!

Last night as I was babbling on the phone with the Huns, I jotted down a few things that I "WILL" accomplish this weekend.  I'm sure more will come to mind, but for now this is what I have.

Here it goes!

1- Sleep, Sleep, and more Sleep. I'd like to get atleast 8 hours of sleep.

2- Have breakfast with my Mom, Sister and my little princess daily.

3- GET some SUN!!!! I've been told I'm waaaay past pale. (that's mean, right?)

Is it Friday, yet?

Can't wait to share my weekend with you all when I return.
