The Merry Go Round...

When I think back to when I was kid, I'd say my favorite ride was the Bumper Cars...I remember I could get on that ride over and over and never be tired of it. As a child I don't really recall ever choosing to ride the merry go round, I may have thought I was too cool at some point. Today, the Merry Go Round or as my niece's call it, the horsey ride, happens to be one of their favorite rides. There's a merry go round at our local mall, I remember the girls once telling me they wanted me to take them to the mall. I thought it was kind of awkward for a 3 year old to request to go to the mall, and when we got there I understood why.

A friend of mine had a little gathering at Crandon Park about a month or so, and 2 years prior they hosted another gathering there as well... near the playground area there's a merry go round. The first time we went I didn't have any cash on me, but I was prepared this time around...even my bestfriend and I joined them and went for a ride.

I Guess We'll Always Be Kids at Heart!

Friday's Letters

Dear Friday, you have no idea how happy I am that you're finally here, not only has it been the longest week ever, but it means that I'm a day closer to a day filled with smiles and laughter. Dear New Nutritionist/Trainer, I'm really happy to have you in my life. Thank you for checking up on me and my daily snacks, and for keeping me motivated. Most of all THANK YOU, for wanting to make me Better!  Dear Starbucks,  without you I would not know how to start my mornings. I apologize for visiting you only once a day versus the 2-3 times I used to...but thank you for making my mornings so much better.  Dear Army Wives producer, I am extremely excited for this Sunday's new season premier. I think I've watched season's 1-5 from my collection about 5 times now...not that I'm obsessed or anything. Dear family, friends, and followers, hope you have a FABULOUS weekend.

With Love,

Me

Thursday Thoughts...

{one.}
I'd like to think that my coffee addiction is mental, and that I CAN survive without it...but going from 3-4 cups of coffee a day to 1-2 and sometimes even none has me in the crankiest moods.

{two.}
I sometimes wonder where and how people come up with these crazy studies...call me crazy, but I'd like to meet the person who tested and came up with, that pineapple juice is actually good for you. *SMH*

{three.}
I've had one the craziest weeks at work in a long time, leaving work after 6, driving in traffic for an hour and a half back home with enough energy to just crawl into bed. I'm so looking forward to this weekend, I don't have class this Saturday, so that means I get to sleep in and catch up on my zzzzzzzzz's. Can you hear me snoring yet?

{four.}
I'm obsessed with lists...I think I have a list for everything and anything, and review them daily. My life would just not be organized without them. I've recently started typing my 32 by 32 list...and can't wait to get started.

{five.}
I want to go to see Madonna in November sooo sooo bad...her tickets go on sale tomorrow and have no one to go with. :(  So, I texted my sister and asked her to please come with me, her response, "I'd rather go see Disney's Toy Story." #FAIL

{six.}
I've always wanted to learn to play the piano...last night while having drinks and dinner with my friend and her honey, he mentioned that he plays the guitar in a band, and that at the shop he works at I can take lessons for $22...I think I shall sleep less and squeeze in some time and take some lessons.

{seven.}
I've been working on a game plan to de-clutter my closet and drawers for months now, perhaps if time permits, I shall use my one free Saturday to do so.

{eight.}
I can't believe that in exactly 4 months I will be 32. I remember as a little girl counting the days to turn 15, then 18, then 21, now at 31 feels like the years are flying by. Please make it STOP!!!!

That's all for now folks!
