 http://itsnevertoolatealthoughimalwayslate.blogspot.com

1. What your blog is about?
Hi! My name is Libby and I’m semi-new blogger. I'm a daughter, sister, and an Auntie to 4 beautiful little girls. My blog is full of different random stuff, mainly about my nieces, our little adventures, my 3 bestfriends, my travels, my NKOTB addiction, and I've now recently joined the Neely bandwagon. Hope you visit and enjoy my blog!

2- Starbucks (Ah...Mocha's & Latte's make waking up just a little better.)
3- Mickey Mouse - (19 days and counting till my next trip)
4- I love planning themed parties for my nieces.

3. What do you think you have gained from blogging?
Although I’m a bit reserved and don’t speak much, I’ve discovered that actually have a lot to say. Once I start typing I just can’t stop.

4. Biggest accomplishment or thing you would like to accomplish this year.
This year I’d like to complete atleast 4 of the scrapbooks I started last year.

Be sure to check out my other posts. :)

What Did You Watch This Week...

So now that I think I’ve finally got the hang of linking up… let’s see!
I must admit, I’m not big on watching TV unless there’s a football game on…
but I’ve never missed an episode of The Bachelor/Bachelorette.

Today's topic on Boob Tube Babble: What did you watch this week?

Ben is sooo cute!!!!

The girls and Ben are off to Belize this week.
I’m anxiously waiting for him to send Courtney home. That girl is no good!
And now I’m hooked on "The Voice", (I can’t believe I missed out on the first season)
I found myself flipping the channels back and forth between The Voice and The Bachelor.
This week, I’m moving the little TV into the living room so I can watch both.
I’ll let you know how that goes!
What did you watch this week?
Link up with Ashley and I and talk some TV

Martinis

Martinis, oh how I love thee... Im not one to pick out something new from the menu, my friends can pretty much tell you that no matter where I go, I  will most likely order the same thing from the menu. Last week I went out for Sushi, and ordered 2 Chocolate Martinis...I've had my fair share of chocolate martinis, but this one topped them all!
(Chocolate Martini: 1 1/2 shots Godiva® chocolate liqueur
1 1/2 shots creme de cacao,1/2 shot vodka, 2 1/2 shots half-and-half)
Mix all ingredients in a shaker with ice, shake an pour into a chilled glass.
Tonight, I ordered a Banana Split Martini. I guess they make them differenltly in every place, I was honestly looking forward to some whip cream, chocolate syrup, strawberries and bananas....didn't happen, but I loved that it had 3 cherries!!! Martini was AMAZING!!!! Definately a must try!

Banana Split Martini: (1 shot banana liqueur, 1 shot Kahlua® coffee liqueur half-and-half, fill with pineapple juice & cherries)
Combine ingredients, shake, and pour over ice. Garnish with cherries.)
Next...I'm going to trying the Lychee Martini and the Blackberry Martini.

Till then, Sunshilne and Smiles! :)

It's Ok Thursdays!!!!

Its Ok Thursdays

                                        It's OK ....

...that I woke up this morning and turned on my coffee pot and forgot to add water to the machine.

...that I've been reading and researching how to join the mix of link ups and I'm just figuring it out.

...that I wish this month would come to an end, after only being 9 days into it and knowing that March is going to be just as crazy.

...that I had a brownie and a vanilla frappucino for breakfast this morning.

...that I got teary-eyed during the pre-screening of "The Vow" last night, but held it in so my bestfriend wouldn't cry. (She's pregnant and full of extra emotions...Love You Em! :)

...that I sleep with a night light on every night, since I can't remember when.

...that I have to read 3 chapters before class on Saturday morning, and I've yet to open my book. Guess it's CRUNCH TIME for me!

What are you okay with today?

Babies, Babies, and MORE Babies...

Lately it seems as just about everyone I run into, or talk to either has just had a baby, about ready to pop, or just discovered they're pregnant!

I don't have any babies of my own, but I do have 4 beautiful nieces!
Growing up I would always tell my siblings that when we married we should each have 4 children and on Friday's, I'd pick them all up to stay with me, and have all 12 babies wake my parents up on Sundays for Brunch. Unfortunately, things didn't turn out how I had planned, both my siblings stopped after baby number 2.
Let's see...7 of my friends just had babies... 5 healthy boys and 2 healthy girls...One of my cousin's is just about ready to POP! Another cousin is going to be a first time Daddy this year! And one of my bestfriends recently discovered she's pregnant!  How EXCITING!!!!

Seems like 2011 was the Baby-making year!

2012

2012... A new year, a new beginning, new resolutions, new challenges, new goals, new hopes, and new dreams...Which ever it may be, the beginning of a new year is different for everyone. As December of the current year slowly comes to an end all you read and hear about is how everyone can't wait for the year to end and for the new one to begin.

Sure everyone has had they're fair share of ups and downs, does that mean that by ending one year and beginning another those troubles and/or obstacles you were faced with will just vanish through thin air? What about the good that you experienced that year? The smiles, the laughters, the memories, does that not matter anymore?  Why wait for the new year to begin on things you'd like to acheive, why not start then?!

I once believed that closing out one year and beginning another would make the hurt, the anger, the problems go away. Who was I kidding!!!! The change in a number doesn't make it any better or make those obstacles disappear. Sure, the new year motivates one to take up on new things, but how long before one is no longer motivated? And once again the as the year reaches its end, we're back where we started. Seems as we're a bit more complicated that what we think our troubles are.

Let's cherish the good times, the friends we've made, and the paths we've crossed. Let the many obstacles and challenges we faced, be lessons learned.

With that in mind...Why not type up  a What I've Always Wanted to Do List... Start by taking on the easiest to achieve and work your way up...and definately don't wait for the beginning of the new year to take on something new! :)

Zoo Miami- Labor Day Weekend.

Wow! I've just realized that it's been almost a month since my last post. Crazy how fast time is passing us by.
So I've currently become addicted to discount sites like groupon and living social. My friends were always talking about it, so I figured I'd check it out. At first I was bit worried since there's so many scams out there, so when I received the $5 admission deal to Zoo Miami I thought I'd give it a shot, afterall if it was a scam, I'd only be out the 5 bucks. So I went ahead and purchased tickets for the family and even adopted a little friend for the day... and the tickets worked!!!! :) LOL

I can't remember the last time I went to the Zoo, I suppose I was maybe like 8 or 9. Back then it was called Miami's Metro Zoo. I still don't see the purpose of the name change to Zoo Miami, it is still the same zoo, same location, same animals, but to each it's own.

Here are some pictures from our day at the zoo. Enjoy!
