Happy 3rd Anniversary to My Little Ol' Space

I AM BACK!!! Yea...I know...I should be sentenced to a LIFE in the absent blogger Box of Shame. I can't believe it's been a month since my last post. Go ahead, beat me up, I deserve it. My excuse is: Once You Get Married...Life Happens and time Flies when You're Having Fun! I promise you that I had scheduled a bunch of fun summer posts, just haven't had the extra time to finish them. But it's something to look forward to in the coming weeks. In the meantime I wanted to celebrate with you fine people this special day!

Today my little space is 3 years old!  

This past year has been ahhhhmmaaazzzeeee balls! 132 posts, 116 new bloggy friends, 1 hubby, 40+ new family members, 4 new visits to Mickey and 2 more to go, turning 33, an extra 10 lbs, a fun-filled summer surrounded by those I love, and 1 family road trip to look forward to. That my friends is what has kept me away from you all. Waaaahhh I've missed you so much!

Now that I've rambled off about the last year...let's talk about First Blog Posts.

You know the one you posted to introduce yourself? I remember when I first started I had a million thoughts in my mind and knew exactly what I wanted to say. I mean c'mon how hard can it be to talk about yourself? 

And then......when I sat in front of my screen my mind went blank_________. 

I took a piece of paper and jotted down a few things about me, what I like to do, and what I want to write about and put it all together and came up with something short and sweet.

Happy 2nd Blogiversary to my little space!

I can't believe it's been 2 years since I started my little space here. 

 I started this blog not knowing what blogging was about, nor what I would blog about.  

I went from my First  post to a total of 9 posts in 2010, 11 posts in 2011 to 47 posts this year! 

I would've never imagined people would actually want to read my ramblings. :)

I still remember the day I had 4 followers, I was ESTATIC and thought I was pretty COOL!

Today, I have 74 new friends!

Now that's something Celebrate!!!  

I owe it all to YOU!

First one in 2011

Wow! Can't believe we're halfway thru February already! Before we know it the summer will be here, kids will go back to school, then the end of the year, and we start all over again.
Although the begining of 2011 didn't turn out as I had planned, I haven't kept up with any of my goals for the year, so far it's turned out to be pretty GREAT!


Today I came across a blog of a friend who had originally invited me to follow her blog back in January. I know, I'm a bad friend. It's crazy how busy we get in our everyday lives and are left with just enough energy to crawl into bed. It's been a year since I last spoke or saw her. She just celebrated her first year in marriage, how time flies, how exciting for her and her honey; but was saddened to read that she's been very ill and I'm now just finding out, I'm such a bad friend. We get all so wrapped up with the craziness of the everyday and forget the little things that can go a long way.  Last year I reunited with a handful of friends and promised to keep in touch with them atleast once a month, and I haven't kept my part. =(  Not Good!
