Yikes! The Year is Over!!!

Yikes! The Year is Over!!!

I won't sit here and recap the last 12 months of my life, but I must say, 2012 has definately brought new friendships, ended others, lots and lots of new babies, new families, a new love, a few heartbreaks, new plans, new dreams, and a whole lot of changes. As I sit here and catch up with many of your blogs, it brings so much happiness to my heart to see how much your little babies have grown, how many of you have married, and how many of you are going to be new Mommies! I'm sooo excited for you all and look forward to seeing your little families continue to grow.

What I've been up to the last month or so...

Let's see...Work has definately kept me a bit busy, I guess I can't complain, there are many who aren't fortunate to have a job. And I've been lucky enough to have been given the opportunity to take a career change. There have been some bumps here and there, but I think I've just about mastered it! :)

Then there are my little rugrats...Lydia turned 6 in October, she's definately my mini me...Layla turned 4 this month and that little terror is full of surprises. They're growing up so fast, sometimes I'm afraid I'm going to miss out on something.

And of course, there's my HoneyBee...the past 10 months have been amazing! I can't thank god enough for making our paths cross.
He truly completes me.

Traveling...I just got back from a trip to New York...I definately LOVE that place. I had gotten a sneak peek of the city a few years ago, and always wanted to go back. I got that opportunity 2 weeks ago. It was cold, wet, and crowded! But no matter how sick, cold, tired, or miserable I was, Seeing my honey's face when we hit TimeSquare was priceless! That one moment I looked over to him and saw his excitement was more than enough to make it the best trip ever!
(I'll be adding a post on the NY trip to "My Travels" tab this coming week; so be sure to come back & check it out.)

Of course, how could I end 2012 without visiting my favorite place in the world. I'm off to end 2012 and ring in the new year with 2 of my loves, My HoneyBee and Mickey Mouse.
Maybe I'll get Lucky and get a kiss from Mickey!

So Bring it on 2013 THIS year is DEFINATELY going to be MINE!
I promise if you stick around long enough, I'll share with you alot of  the exciting changes in my life this coming year.

Sweet November...

Hi Guys! I want to apologize for going missing this past month...feels like I've been doing that alot lately. Good thing you all understand what it's like to get lost in the mix of life, family, and work. Alot has been going on in my life lately, leaving me with enough time and energy to crawl into bed and manage to get a few hours of sleep. Grrr

Although I haven't blogged all month, I ocassionally lurk on your posts when I can spare some free time, like when I'm stuck in traffic, or just right before I go to bed. These days, I've found myself wanting to spend lots of time with my family and my honey. I can't figure out what the heck is wrong with me, I often think that my hormones are getting the best of me...NO I'm NOT pregnant...but I've been extremely emotional and my stress tolerance has now hit the floor. Luckily, my Honey has been very understanding, and no matter how many times those evil hormones may get to me, he's always there to tell me to grab those hormones by the balls and show them who's BOSS! (Love ya babes) Perhaps all I need is SLEEP or a nice glass of wine. :)

I can't believe how fast this year has gone by. Feels like just yesterday I was working on my 2012 list of goals and here we are at year's end. 2012

2012... A new year, a new beginning, new resolutions, new challenges, new goals, new hopes, and new dreams...Which ever it may be, the beginning of a new year is different for everyone. As December of the current year slowly comes to an end all you read and hear about is how everyone can't wait for the year to end and for the new one to begin.

Sure everyone has had they're fair share of ups and downs, does that mean that by ending one year and beginning another those troubles and/or obstacles you were faced with will just vanish through thin air? What about the good that you experienced that year? The smiles, the laughters, the memories, does that not matter anymore?  Why wait for the new year to begin on things you'd like to acheive, why not start then?!

I once believed that closing out one year and beginning another would make the hurt, the anger, the problems go away. Who was I kidding!!!! The change in a number doesn't make it any better or make those obstacles disappear. Sure, the new year motivates one to take up on new things, but how long before one is no longer motivated? And once again the as the year reaches its end, we're back where we started. Seems as we're a bit more complicated that what we think our troubles are.

Let's cherish the good times, the friends we've made, and the paths we've crossed. Let the many obstacles and challenges we faced, be lessons learned.

With that in mind...Why not type up  a What I've Always Wanted to Do List... Start by taking on the easiest to achieve and work your way up...and definately don't wait for the beginning of the new year to take on something new! :)
