IRON MAN 3

Wow! I know this post is a little late, but better late than never and I still wanted to share with you, my High of that day!

So anywho, I'm sure many of you Marvel, Tony Stark, Iron Man fans went out to see Iron Man 3, what you guys think of it?

Of all the movies, Iron Man is totally one of my favorites, and you know I couldn't miss out on the Iron Man Marathon AMC was hosting. 10 hours of Iron Man, I was definitely on a Tony Stark high.

The Marathon began with Iron Man, followed by Iron Man 2, The Avengers, and finishing with Iron Man 3. I can't say I can compare it to The Ultimate Marvel Marathon back in May of 2012. Where we sat through 6 movies, I was so exhausted that I fell asleep when The Avengers began; this time around it was a little easier and I got to enjoy all the films. And I got to wear my new cool Iron Man t-shirt the Huns got me. :)

My thoughts...I loved all the new suits...pretty cool how they all came out at the end. I also Looooveddd that Penny got to wear it for protection at the beginning.

My super cool Iron Man 3 t-shirt, compliments of the Hubs.
The Hubs went out and bought me the 3 lunch totes from Subway for my special event. And AMC gave us these cool lanyards and 3D glasses.

Did any of you watch the movie? How did you like it?

Pain & Gain

Last week I scored Free Advanced Screening passes to see Pain & Gain. I had no idea what the movie was about, all I knew I was going to enjoy double eye candy and a little bit of drooling for a few hours. Good thing the Huns is not jealous!

This action comedy movie is based on a true-story on a crime that was committed in South Florida back in the 90's...where I was probably too young to even remember or realize what was going on.

Movie begins where Mark Wahlberg is a trainer at a South Florida gym and believes that there's nothing better that having the perfect physical muscular body... (drooling over here)  but later realizes that doesn't get him paid. He attends a motivational seminar where his motto is now to become a DOER and not a DON'T-ER. He puts together a scheme to kidnap one of his wealthy clients and drags Dwayne Johnson, and Anthony Mackey along with him. Their plan seemed simple, you know, kidnap the victim, get him to sign over his fortune, and then let him free. Sadly, their first attempt didn't go as planned and their attempt to kill him later was just as unsuccessful. This movie will surely have you laughing.

I won't spoil it anymore for you; just GO watch it!

If you like action and comedy and want something funny to watch this weekend, then you should definitely see this one.

Weekend Shenanigans...

I'm linking up with Sami for this Weekend's Shenanigans...
I didn't do much of anything this weekend. Friday night hung out with the Huns a bit and then I took off with my Sister, Nieces, and the Parentals to West Palm Beach for a Special Day Convention, where we learned to "Protect our Conscience"... and then Sunday spent the morning running errands, organzing, doing laundry, and vegging out in front of the tv.

So here's my weekend...

One... I finally received my Disney Chase Debit Cards in the mail, aren't they the cutest? The one with the whole gang is for Our joint account and...
Two... the one of Mickey alone is my personal account.
Three... My nieces, Layla & Lydia loving each other before heading out to our convention.
Four... Posing with my little Princess Layla
Five... Lydia, my little Fashionista sporting floral sunglasses
Six... Caught Lydia drawing a picture...she says it's a picture of her and Auntie Libby. She's the sweetest!
Seven... 2 of my favorite little people. The little princess is in white; her Mom was one of my bestfriends growing up and now her little girl is one of my favorite little friends and friends with my nieces. #newfriends #oldfriends
Eight... Have I ever told you how much I love Iron Man? I'm obsessed! This is the shirt I will be wearing for the Super Dooper Iron Man marathon next month. So excited!
Nine... What's a weekend without catching the man you fell in love with, using one of his many new toys to ZAP the poor little bugs that fly around our light outside.

There you have it!

If you've not yet met
Sami stop by her place, you'll feel right at home.

What did you do this weekend?

Jack the Giant Slayer

Last Night the Huns and I went to watch "Jack the Giant Slayer in 3D at the Imax theatre. When he first mentioned he wanted to go see it, all I heard was GIANT and SLAYER...ummm sounds SCARY! I don't DO scary movies, like ever. But I'm good sport and tagged along, besides if the movie got too scary or boring I could just take a nap, right? I'm sure the Imax theatre people don't mind taking my $14 for to catch my zzzz's for a few hours.

Yesterday before leaving the office I decided to do some research on the movie just so I was mentally prepared as to what I was going to see. After my research and watching the previews I thought, a fantasy film, this seems kinda boring and we're watching the midnight show, I should be out and snoring within the first 5 minutes.

Jack the Giant Slayer is a fantasy adventure film based on the "Jack the Giant Killer" and "Jack and the Beanstalk". I've never seen or "Jack the Giant Killer" (which again, sounds scary) and have never watched "Jack and the Beanstalk" and as a kid I didn't care much for the story either. The movie is about a boy named Jack who is to rescue a princess from some Giants. To my surprise I watched the entire movie and really enjoyed it. The Huns asked me my thoughts on the movie, and I replied, "well if you would've told me there was a princess in it and a little lovey dovey stuff in it, I would've been a bit more excited."

I won't spoil it for you. I say even if you're not into these kind of movies, you give this one a chance.
I'd love to hear your feedback if you've watched it.

Hello..You Still There? Anyone? Yoohoo!

WARNING!!
This may be the longest post ever!
May cause boredom, yawning, and even make your forehead meet your keyboard.
If you're still reading this after reading the warning label, I warned ya!  Just sayin'

When I said I was going to be MIA for a few days, I was refering to the week prior to the babyshower, and it turns out that I'm busier this week than I was the week before. How is that even possible?!

Let's see a quick recap on last week.

Ummm the famous Donkey Show I won tickets for that I was afraid of going to, yea turned out exactly as I imagined. It was a Disco type, Studio 54 meets Shakespeare kinda party/show. Ever read or see the play MidSummer Night's Dream? Picture that Disco style. All I can say is that it was somewhat INTERESTING. But not the exciting and fun interesting, more like the scary and creepy kind of interesting. Well that was my opinion, the crowd, my hunny, and my friend and her fiance who I dragged along with us, thought it was a cool show. I guess, if you're into that kind of stuff.
Some of the crowd dressed up in 70's gear, I wish I would've known, I would've loved to have dressed up too, ok maybe not.

What's next? Oh yea, I don't know if I've ever mentioned in any of my previous posts, I don't recall how I came about it, but I've been to a few ok alot of movie pre-screenings since the beginning of the year. How it works? You get a pre-screening pass, you stand in line before the show as it's first come first serve basis, you get to watch an unreleased movie before everyone else, then you go tell your friends how awesome the movie was so they go watch it...the best part for YOU is that it's FREE!!! I'll tell you how to get those passes at the end of this paragraph.  Anywho, so Thursday night I went to watch "Total Recall" with my honey, sadly I never watched the first original version, but I must say this version ROCKED! I say you all save your pennies and go watch it!

To get free pre-screening passes, you can go to GofoboAdvanceScreenings , WildAboutMovies some of them on gofobo will require a rsvp code, your local newspapers, some radio stations, give out the rsvp codes and you can enter them there. Other movies may have open screenings and those are the ones you want. The ones you can print right away.  There you have it, a free date during the week compliments of me. :)

Then Friday, we went over my Besties to finalize all the shower favors and goodies. And then I decorated her belly with all the leftover stickers. Isn't her belly the cutest?!

Saturday, I spent the day with my honey, my nieces, and my Mom. We ran some errands, took the girls for pony rides, had lunch, grew some sponge animals, and even made some Art. (Stay tuned for the "ART" post.)

Sunday was the babyshower...Everything was so nicely set up and beautiful. Decor was beautiful, food was DELICIOUS, and Baby Ethan received everything and much more for his arrival. Now we're just counting down the days.  35 days to go! Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures since Auntie to Be, Amey and I were playing hostess. I only got this one picture.
I promise once the photographer sends us the photos to share them with you.

And that folks, was my weekend. Now as for this week. I spent Sunday-Tuesday house/doggysitting. Wednesday the huns cooked some yummy pasta and then we went and hungout at Bayside Marketplace, where I got this ring and the cutest new Mickey phone case.

Isn't Mickey the cutest?

Now I have 2!  :)

Lastnight, we went to see Ruby Sparks (another pre-screening)  This is the movie where the guy is a writer and the girl he writes about comes to life..The movie was really cute!

This weekend, I have a date with my overdue cluttered room, drawers, and closet. Bleh!
It's time for some spring/summer and soon to be fall cleaning. How exciting, right?!...
I just want to cry! But it's gotta be done.

There you have it folks, my weekend, week recap and this weekend recap.
Hope yours is full of sunshine, margaritas, and fun!!!

"A Day Dedicated to Just ME"

Once upon a time...at approx 3pm weighing in at 5 lbs 8 oz and 16 inches long on this very day, July 2nd, 1980... 32 years ago, I was welcomed into this world.

Wasn't I tiny? I look dangly.

I remember when I was 10 I couldn't wait to turn 15
so I can wear heels and make up.
When I turned 15 I remember wanting to turn 18, and then 21.
I was terrified to turn 30...but survived!
Here I am at 32 and the years just keep coming by!!!

July 2nd
I am 32 years old.
I am 11,680 days old.
I am280,334 hours old.
I am 16,820,041 minutes old.
I am 1,009,202,494 seconds old.

Facts about my date of birth:
There is 182 days until the end of the year.
I was born on a leap year.
The Ruby is the stone of the month

The water lily is the flower of the month

Population in 1980- 4,453,863,820
Population today- 6,991,800,919

They say you're only as old as you feel!
Overall, Turning 32 wasn't as bad as I expected, feels like 21.
Had an amazing day with the ones I love most!
